Your Dentdale Questionnaire

The Parish Council wish to thank all the residents and visitors of the valley that took the time to complete the Parish questionnaire. Their input is highly valued in helping to shape the direction and priorities for Dentdale.

At its February meeting the full Parish Council heard from the Your Dentdale Working Group that 162 issues had been highlighted through the survey from 56 respondents. The top three issues raised were: affordable housing, roadworks and tourism. In total 42 grouped improvement opportunities were raised by Parishioners.

The Parish Council decided to use its May Annual Review Council meeting to consider a proposal that would change the governance structure of the Council to align itself better to address the issues raised.

All are welcome to attend on 13th May 2019 in the Sedgwick Room, Dent, when the way forward will be further discussed and endorsed.

It is hoped that residents will then wish to get involved in shaping the outputs from the consultation and join in with improvement projects.

Thank you once again for your invaluable input.

All queries should be directed to the Clerk of the Council, Scott Thornley, at the above address.

Yours faithfully

Your Dentdale Working Group on behalf of Dent with Cowgill Parish Council
