Arrival and Car Parking facilities

We are on the main, cobbled street in the centre of the village. Guests

cannot be parked in the street. The entrance to the village car park is
about 50 yards away.
·
There is ample car parking in the village car park (free overnight),
with designated spaces for disabled drivers on a smooth surfaced area
(the main area of the car park is very difficult to walk on for anyone
with limited mobility or sensitive feet or for wheelchairs)
·
The entrance to the building is level with the cobbled street (there is
no pavement). There is a low (1 cm) threshold, and the door is 78 cm
wide.
·
There is a light over the door, and the door is unlocked during the
hours the Tea Room is open, at other times guests must ring the
doorbell, which is at mid-height.
·
Guide dogs are welcome, and feeding and water bowls can be provided.
·
We can assist guests with luggage.
Main Entrance and Reception
·
Entrance
door, 78 cm wide, leads straight into the Tea Room, which has a
flagstone floor. Seating is available.
·

The ground
floor room is accessed by two steps down through a fire door. This is
hooked open during use. There is a small well-lit lobby area before
passing through to the bedroom.
·
The upstairs
rooms are accessed by a carpeted staircase with round hand-rail. After
reaching a small landing, there are two further steps (one quite deep:
28 cm), with round handrail.

Breakfast is
served in the Tea Room, or in the lobby area adjacent to the ground
floor guest room if preferred by those guests with limited mobility.
·
Furniture is
flexible and can be moved on request; chairs are straight backed without
arms, and can be moved.
