2012Start1Now in its 30th year, the Dentdale Run attracts runners from far and wide who want to run in some of the most breathtaking scenery.

The 14.2 mile figure of 8 course, literally goes up and down the dale (and some hills), out one side of the small village of Dent and back in the other. The race is fully UK Athletics and BARR registered.

Nestled in the Howgills, right on the Cumbria/Yorkshire border, Dent is a small village with a huge community pride. The run helps to raise much needed funds for the small primary school which doubles as race HQ on race d

The run itself regularly attracts 400 - 500 runners (many of them regulars) who enjoy the organisation of the race as well as the facilities and the pre/post race refreshments!

The course has been officially measured in 2013 and is 14 miles and 331.5 yards (14.19 miles).

The race is run under UK Athletics rules and holds a full UK Athletics licence. It is also graded by BARR and currently holds a Bronze grading.

Read what some runners have to say about the run and then come and try it for yourself. You will be glad you did!
