Dent is a small village in the Yorkshire Dales, although actually in the county of Cumbria. Dentdale is on the far western side of the Dales, only 10 miles from the M6 motorway. The school has 28 children in three classes, aged 4 to 11, many travelling into the village (known locally as 'Dent Town') by minibus or car from up or down the dale.
